Brembana valley (prov. of Bergamo)

A beautiful hike on mountain's mule-tracks and trails, from Cornello dei Tasso, home of the famous writer Torquato Tasso, to Oneta, a charming small town where the tradition claims it as the Arlecchino's birth place. Some of the small town along the trail can be reached only on foot and there is no road connection with the outside world. Trekking around Mt. Avaro refuge.

How to reach Camerata Cornello:

by car:

from Milan (about 80 km): highway A4 to Venice, exit to Dalmine and follow the signs for "Val Brembana". Continue onto SS 470, up to Camerata Cornello exit. From here, hike to Onello.
